Dear friends,
I am not a medical practitioner. I am just someone with psoriasis, who wants to share some information and advice with you. It takes one to know and understand one.
Having psoriasis or any kind of skin condition is a huge battle. It leaves marks and sores on our skin which are visible to others.
Not only does it make us feel ashamed and agitated about our altered skin condition, we also have to put up with curious eyes, queries and remarks. We change our style to 'cover up'. Long sleeve tops and shirts, long skirts and pants, caps, shawls are now part of our wardrobe, even in summer.
We secretly wish and hope that its just temporary.
We keep looking for solutions.
Let's begin by loving ourselves. A positive attitude will open our minds to see things differently.
That's right. Never give up hope.
Love,
PsoriasisBlogger
